Why this website?

This website was created to allow us to interact after we have graduated, share our experiences, support one another and strengthen our ranks and our interest in this passion as well as in the school which showed us the way to do it professionally.

If you are an alumnus or alumna who has been away, please enter and see what is happening since you have left the school. Join the rest of us and be an active member of our group.  If you are someone who wishes to know more about our experience with IYRS, contact us or contact through us an individual alumnus in the US or in other parts of the world, to tell you what he/she thinks and his or her experience at IYRS.  If you are someone who wants to share with the rest of us what you do in this area, join our blogs, send us photos, come visit us in beautiful Newport.

All of you can be part of the great family of people who like boating, woodworking, maritime heritage, are boat builders or enjoy owning a small wooden boat. We have created this website in conjunction with the IYRS website to help us all interact.  Use it, tell us what you think. We are committed to see it evolve and improve with your help.
