After 3 years of efforts our association is growing with new alumni every year, coming out of the traditional and the new programs initiated at IYRS. In this period we, who took upon ourselves to get things started, have set the missions of the association, have organized a number of events to bring alumni together, have maintained a database of alumni contact information, have developed a website and a facebook account and have established a tax association of the organization, allowing us to become a formal entity.

In few words we have done all that was needed for the association to grow and develop to a useful entity for its members and the school with which it is linked. Now it is the turn of all of you to join us in creating a set of organization by-laws, which will define us and will allow us to progress with a formal structure in which we are all happy and proud to be members off.
The process to reach that state is defined as following:

An initial text of the by-laws will be sent, as an attachment to all alumni who we can reach by e-mail, followed by a form,  with a number of comments generated already, to have each of us produce comments on specific issues, as well as on the overall subject of the by-laws. 
Following the reception of alumni responses, within a specific deadline, the comments will be assessed and incorporated in the bylaws by a group of alumni selected to do this work. 
The final draft of the by-laws will then be sent to the alumni for a final vote of approval or disapproval along with a number of minimum required responses, which will make this vote a proper democratic process. 

Those of you, who do not have an e-mail address, you will receive through regular mail two documents, one of the draft by-laws and one with a Form, including a number of comments generated already to which you are kindly asked to give your view  in written.
