Dear IYRS Alumni,

in line with our objective to continue promoting ourselves and what binds us together, using our website, the facebook account and the links to relevant internet resources, we wish to expand in the video area, taking advantage of the very successful YouTube. We created a new account, in Youtube, the IYRS Alumni Association account and we would like, to invite you all, to subscribe to our channel.

Using this new account, you are invited to send us your videos, those which you think will be a good way to inform fellow alumni, but also people around the world, what we do, who we are, what are we occupied with and how we are evolving.  This way of communicating should not only allow promoting ourselves, but may lead into new possibilities, new contacts and new opportunities for us, the IYRS and the boating world in which we are part of, from so many aspects.

Such videos could be part of one of your experiences, like a job of restoration, a sailing trip, a boat wiring job in the Caribbean, but also a happy family affair like teaching your five year old how to sail. They do not need to be masterpieces, they just need to tell a story, any story.

To submit such a video simply attach your file to an email message to the iyrsalum@gmail.com with a few lines about the subject of the production. If the video is beyond the capacity to transfer this way write to us and we will get back to you to suggest a way to send us a big file.

P.S.
Of course we will retain the right to accept or reject your contribution, but we doubt you will provide us with material ... dangerous to the public :)
