We are conducting most of our communications through the internet and the use of E-mail. However we are often in need to send information and other document by surface mail. We wish to have a volunteer who will be given material, will need to reproduce them , put them in envelopes to be provided and deposited them with IYRS who has kindly accepted to post them on our behalf. The same person may be asked in few occasions to send via surface mail requests to alumni who do not respond on their email but we know their address and ask them to reconnect with us by updating their contact information. Estimated time of involvement 2-4 hours by monthly.

We are seeking a person in close proximity to the school and interested in writing simple text based on text provide by alumni or based on interviews conducted with the aim to create a profile for as many graduates as possible . These profiles , about a type written page long, are very important for promoting our graduates, showing the diversity of students attending IYRS , and forming a basis for further contacts between each individual alumnus and the rest of the world, Estimated involvement 4-6 hours monthly.

Our association is presently designing an electronic job opportunities facility , relevant to the fields of our studies at IYRS to complement the service offered through IYRS. We are seeking a person who will help us in the development of this facility , help us promote the facility with organizations primarily in the New England area to start with, act as a liaison between employers and alumni, and monitor the satisfaction of the service. Person should feel comfortable with usage of internet and have a good sense of public relations. Estimated involvement unknown for the time being.

We need a person who resides near Newport and will liaise with the school at various levels and possibly with members of the board of trustees on all maters, which require coordination with our association and the school. This may include scheduling of events promotion of the association through the school, support of the association by the school, promotion of the school through the association, fundraising activities, information sharing, policy coordination, voluntary services and anything which helps the association be a useful organization along its objective to promote IYRS. Bimonthly involvement 2-3 hours.

Looking for people who enjoy spending time on the internet, feel comfortable with how it works and wish to help us populate our website with new content of relevant nature. We already have many sources available with information which by including in the website make it more interesting and make the website more attractive to people around the world. We also need people who will encourage other alumni to provide input about what they are doing, which is the main way to promote our own members, the organization they are working with and the craft and vocation we have all learned by attending IYRS. Estimated weekly involvement 2-4 hours.
